I am seeing Inception this weekend to see what all the hype is about (anyone have any non-spoiler reviews before I go??). In the mean time, get your best friend and join a gang that wears leather jackets!!! Here’s something a little lighter than leather w/ the same look:

If you have been watching Entourage lately, you’ll notice Ari’s been rocking the gingham look lately…and rocking it well. Maybe it will really seal the deal in getting an NFL team to LA…then again, look at the Raiders…and the Rams…
Here’s a glimpse of a combo you saw in the last few episodes; I chose the blue instead of the purple in hopes that it might be an easier start for those of you shy to these particular patterns:
1901 Gingham Poplin Shirt $38.90 @ Nordstrom
ASOS Slim Tie in Blue $10.11

If you have more TIME than there is in the day to make tons of money, check out this very unique and bold watch. It’s not for everyone and definitely demands a certain wearer; however, if it makes your heart go tick-tock, it would be a great statement. For the record, LKc Style does not condone spending money you don’t have (which is why most of our recommendations are affordable)…but if you do have it, you might as well look good too.
Vestal #RSW002 Rosewood Watch $130

Thanks to the Possessionista for sending along her reader looking for the purple gingham buttondown shirt LeBron wore during his ESPN Miami signing interview. If you didn’t know (which seems impossible), shit’s going down on the NBA free agents front. Below is a close match to LeBron’s shirt from the other night, and please feel free to pass along other requests for any other dapper dressed recruits.

Dear CG:
Thanks for your in-”sights” (haaaaaaa)…below are a few black frame glasses with no prescription so you can look the part but without a-stigma(tism). The chunky rectangle frames are warping into a more retro look lately (e.g. every newscaster from the 50’s and 60’s). These are a couple that are stylish and dignified and not trendy enough that you’ll pitch them in a year:
ASOS 50’s Wayfarer Clear Frame Glasses $16.91
Corinne McCormack Men’s Evening Reading Glasses $52

Thanks to my pal The Possessionista for sending over a reader who is looking for men’s dress shirts that have a different pattern on/in the cuff and collar similar to those seen on Cameron in the hit TV show Modern Family. As a brief education, these shirts are called “contrast collar” or “contrast cuff” shirts. These shirts are definitely not main stream and can often be difficult to find, especially if you are looking for something specific. You can often find contrast collar/cuff shirts with white collars and/or cuffs, but different patterns are always a unique find, although rather pricey. For the best affect, it’d be best to get a shirt tailored for your exact needs. Here are some neat ones I found:

Modus Coture $99; You have to be a real man to wear this.
