So, you have been dating So-and-So for a while now and whether you want to or not, she’s requested you meet her parents for a little “get-together.” So-and-So’s parents are probably nice enough but will still be judging you with hawk eyes. A few tips to meet Mr. & Mrs. So-and-So:
1. Don’t try too hard–unless you’re going to a formal dinner, a tie and/or suit in this situation might make you look stuffy. Leave the formalities at home.
2. Don’t look like the slob So-and-So met drunkenly at the bar last Saturday night–more than a t-shirt is required for this event. Don’t fret, you can still be comfortable.
3. Have a good handshake ready. Think Budwiser: not too heavy, not too light.

Is there something up with horizontal stripes lately? Note sure if I just happen to be noticing it now or if there’s actually a trend, but thermals, sweaters, etc. with horizontal stripes are popping up all over. I dig the jacket though.
