Gentleman, the last few decades we’ve been focusing on shorter scarves perhaps with the idea that long scarves were for women only. Check out this nice, sleek watch from ASOS! Not necessarily for the workplace, but great for weekends and with your casual wear! This would be a good addition to bulk up your timepiece collection without spending a fortune–there was a recent article in the WSJ explaining how many watches a man needs–the blurred answer was somewhere between two and a dozen! Yowwwwwzers. LKc Style recommends having one to three watches at hand…unless you have more money to spend than you know what to do with.

E–thanks for reading! We really like the cardigan (you should definitely buy it in either gray or black, nice find)…but this is an indoor sweater–it won’t hold out the cold and perhaps rain like your windbreaker did. I get that a trenchcoat isn’t your style–especially since you often bike to work. SOOOOOOOOO, how about something like one of these that will be a little more weatherproof and long-lasting than the sweater but not as formal as a trenchcoat all under $100:

Esquire Magazine demands every man get a tweed jacket this Fall. Good luck finding a nice tweed jacket under $200 right now (the “affordable” option in the article was $348!). BUT there’s hope for you! I found a beautiful tweed jacket at Goodwill this weekend for $10! Great color, great lining, great fit, and elbow patches that probably did some old man real good. So, before you shell out a ton of cash in a retail store, stop by your local Goodwill or resale shop and make any necessary adjustments with your tailor. Tweed often gets better with age anyway…like a good brandy (but with elbow patches).
