Oh Stephen, we love you for all your pithy and witty commentary; but even more than content on Gaddafi’s crazy hats or what those damn liberals are up to now–we are totally digging your tie choices lately (or at least your costumer’s choice on your ties…). Our Tip of the Hat to you, sir!
“Blue on blue. Black on black. Whatever it was, it made a fashion statement. All of a sudden, I was a guest speaker at the annual tie convention! One day, the executive producer, Michael Davies, said, ‘We can’t go with that look anymore. Every weatherman on television in every small town in America is dressing like you.’ ”

An affordable well-made tie…if that’s what you’re in to. Wear this bad boy with just about anything: dress it up with a gray suit or dress it down with a corduroy blazer. This is what we call a closet staple, men.
…………………think about it. Snowmen deserve to be dapper too.
So, we haven’t seen every minute of every season of Survivor like Jimmy Johnson has, but we don’t think suiting up for the Nicaraguan beach will help start any fires…but, looking good anyway, Sash. Perhaps, try some swim trunks next time…
Is anyone still watching this show? Do you think the young or old team will win out this season?
Father’s Day is coming up on Sunday, June 20th! Did you pick something out for your pops yet?? No need to go overboard with golf clubs and fancy cars…unless you have that kind of money; but you should pick up your old man a little something just to say thanks for putting up with you after all these years. Here are just a few Father’s Day do’s and don’ts for a nice gift:
First, go see the movie Up In The Air starring George Clooney! It was brilliant, touching, sad, and (my favorite) sarcastically hilarious at just the right moments. But, this isn’t a movie review blog, it’s a men’s style blog, and thus, here is a similar blue and white polka-dotted tie seen throughout the film (polka dots aren’t just for girls with pigtails anymore; this is svelt and timeless):
J Crew Large Dot Tie in Navy on sale for $49.50
PS–I wouldn’t mind receiving the soundtrack to movie as a gift either! Whew.
If you’ve been keeping up with GLEE in it’s hit first season, you’re probably sad it’s coming to end just in time to stay inside all winter. Boo. As our own finale, we’ve put together an affordable outfit that the adorable yet sexy Will Scheuster might don:
Michael Kors Classic Check $24.99
Tre Vero Croix Tweed Vest $89.50
