It was made evident that the brown tweed vest in the GLEE Will Scheuster post might be out of budget for some loyal LKc readers. I will agree and disagree…and then lovingly give some alternatives to create the same look for even less. To agree, $90 for a vest (or most things) is expensive, period. To disagree, a nice tweed vest like that (unlike certain shirts or socks) should last you a lifetime and will be a classic, long-lasting look…so $90 over a lifetime seems a little less daunting. In any case, consider some less expensive sweater vests to create the same teacher-y look for less:
