WHAT IT IS

No longer will a groom have to decide if their bowtie matches the bridesmaids dresses; they can call on LKc Style to put together the entire package from head to toe. The bride, groom, or both will meet with LKc Style for a free initial consultation to evaluate their vision, budget, and other details. LKc Style will put the wardrobe together in an easy to use point-and-click document that can be electronically distributed to all the groomsmen. Personal consultations with the groom and groomsmen can also be set by appointment in person or via Skype. Additional services can also include rehearsal dinner wear and honeymoon attire.
There are perks to utilizing LKc Style services: most wedding parties opt to buy their suits instead of renting and still save money. LKc Style can also accommodate classic, modern, and alternative weddings—from formal black tie to a sandy beach setting. And, there is strict attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile to ensure a stress-free event for brides, grooms, and wedding planners.

Suit Vests

Tuesday, November 3rd, 2009

This is not a high-end blog of fashion rules and regulations. You readers are normal guys, so I try not to burden you with rules, but more provide suggestions and guidelines. And perhaps some times just make you think about things you never thought about previously.

So,  a little teeny detail to think about the next time you buy a suit vest: wool-back or silk-back???? I’d say both of these options are absolutely fine; however, silk back is more common currently. To answer which one, consider a few of the following:

1. Will you be mostly inside or outside while you’re wearing the vest? (A thick wool can keep you warmer in cold weather, silk or a light wool in summer would both be nice)

2. Will you have your suit jacket mostly on or off while you’re wearing the vest? (Wool will look more formal when the jacket is off, this might be better for a wedding and not necessarily for the office)

3. What color is the suit jacket? (The vest need NOT match the suit, although it can; but the vest back should coordinate with the front of the vest–you don’t want to look like a clown)

After a few discussions, a friend recently chose to go with a wool-back vest for his wedding and it looked SUPER sharp:
