Perfect timing again! Just got a similar shirt as the one above and was perplexed by the idea of a tie. The one you suggest is a pretty solid option… I’m just surprised it has a pattern on it, I always thought the general rule was “patterned tie with solid shirt, solid tie with patterned shirt”?
Eric–glad to hear it. You can often match patterns carefully. A trick is to make sure there are coordinating colors in the shirt and tie and that one pattern is bold and the other is more fine so they don’t clash!
